CALLANAN

JOHN CALLANAN was born September 1885 at Rosstown, South Westland, New Zealand.

John’s Parents were…..   PATRICK and MARGARET CALLANAN.

I believe that PATRICK CALLANAN was a brother of my grandmother Margaret Callanan ( Mrs. Hogan).

I would be pleased to hear from anyone who believes we have a connection.

LOST COWE OR COWIE RELATIVES

Our forebear JAMES COWE (later COWIE) christened 22-4-1781, St. Luke, Old Church, Finsbury, London,  was  the eldest son of JOHN COWE and his wife JANE (or JEAN) MURRAY.

Another son and daughter were living in 1818, (names unknown), probably also born in the London area.    (See also My Cowie Familytree).

I would love to hear from any other Cowe or Cowie’s who feel they have a connection.

IRISH FAMILY HISTORY FOUNDATION

Recently I had the great joy of finding the marriage of my great grandparents DANIEL CALLANAN and his wife MARGARET KEOGH.

This JOY came about because of my surfing the net and finding IRISH FAMILY HISTORY FOUNDATION, which  is the Genealogy Database for Ireland.   It is an on-line record search system, and can be found at    www.brsgenealogy.com
